Happy Easter, everyone. It’s been a crazy busy day for us over here. I got up nice and early and did some editing (so far, the five AM wake-up has been hugely helpful for getting things done) and then we went to Mass, followed by breakfast and then rushing over to my mother in law’s place for Easter supper.
After all of that fun stuff, when we finally got home, my daughter was In A Mood, and I couldn’t really do anything else but hold her and carry her about. She’s lucky she’s so adorable.
Anyway, I’m hoping to get some good editing in tomorrow, somehow – I’m working away on chapter 13 / 20 right now, so that’s not too bad. It’s also my son’s first day of grade 1 in our year-round homeschool, so that’s gonna throw some curveballs at me as I learn how to teach the curriculum all over again. 😛
All in all, it’s been a great day celebrating the resurrection of our Lord, and I am so thankful for all of my many blessings, especially my faith and my family. 🙂
